About Sankri

Sankri is a beautiful town less than 200kms from Dehradun in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. Set in the Govind Pashu Vihar National Park and Sanctuary, the town provides a breathtaking vista of the Swargarohini Peak.

Sankri and its surrounding villages serves as the access point of various treks as such Har Ki Dun trek, Bali Pass – Ruinsala Tal trek, the Kedarkantha trek and Rupin Pass trek, to name a few.
